Das kleine Buch über "Hygge" kommt in einem wunderschönen, teils mit gold geprägten Hardcover und eignet sich deshalb auch super zum Verschenken.Der Inhalt lässt sich auch auf Englisch entspannt lesen und es sind viele, liebevolle Zeichnungen und Bilder mit im Text verarbeitet.Wer eine leichte Lektüre über das Glücklich-Sein lesen möchte ist hiermit bestens bedient.
Das Buch verleiht einen super Einblich in das Dänische Alltagsleben, und ist zusätzlich noch mit interessantem Wissen über andere Kulturen vollgestopft.Es enthält schöne "hyggelige" Farbbilder, zusätzlich sind dänische Rezepte im Buch zu finden, sowie Challenges und Tipps für das ultimative Hygge-Leben.Außerdem musste ich einige Male laut auflachen, da der Autor wie eine Person von nebenan rüberkommt.
by the time I got to it, the book started turning into a cliche, but I enjoyed reading it very much. Nice design, good quality of the paper, a lot of illustrations - all in all, it is a very cosy book.It contains a lot of advise how to make a pause in the middle of everyday rush and stress, how to look around and reminds yourself that sometimes there is nothing better than peace and quiet.
It's more a book you read on a lazy Sunday afternoon when you're bored, but the art is great, the design cute and it really gives you an insight to Hygge. My friends have also bought a copy since I can't stop gushing about it.
The only thing more Hygge than reading about Hygge is this little book. It is beautiful and very high quality. I agree with other reviews that it reads like a long magazine article, but in a nice way. It's very comforting and pleasant to read and look at the pictures. I liked it so much I already ordered a few more as gifts. Highly recommend.

Perfect as a gift for any friends - being danish it s funny to give away. Note: this is the small version. Comes in a bigger format too. Paper qulity very nice and recycled paper (?)And price is the best I ever found.Would definately by again.
